Impact investment carries a certain weight as a term. It suggests intention, responsibility and a desire to align capital with outcomes that extend beyond financial return. Yet the mechanics behind it often remain unclear, particularly for those approaching the sector for the first time.

What does Al Rauda invest in?

Sustainable agriculture, agroforestry which includes; timber, crops and carbon-linked assets. Our subsidiary investment portfolio consists of
agri-technology and infrastructure connecting production to markets.

Clarity begins with definition. Impact investments are designed to generate measurable social or environmental benefits alongside financial returns. The emphasis sits on measurability. Without it, claims remain unanchored.

Why are complimenting layered returns important?

Returns vary depending on the asset class.

In agroforestry, returns tend to be structured across multiple streams including timber, crops, carbon credits and land appreciation. This creates a layered profile where income can emerge at different stages of the investment lifecycle. It is not a uniform curve, more a series of overlapping waves.

Opportunities are global, our network has no geographical bounds and as Al Rauda are aligned with governments, our approach allow us to invest internationally bringing greater opportunities to stakeholders.
